Hello loves! It’s been a hot minute since my last post but I’ve been working hard on something special – stay tuned for that! In the meantime, I’ve decided to create some outfit of the day. These will feature everything I’m wearing at three price points: Save, Spend, and Splurge. I’d love to hear what items you like to save on and where you let yourself splurge!
Today, I have an inexpensive look that you guys have been loving on social media that’s perfect for back to school! Comment to let me know what you think and tell me what you’d like to see in my next post!

Denim dresses are the perfect mix of casual and put together – ideal for back to school. I got my dress from Bluenotes when they were having a ‘buy one, get one for $1’ sale so that was a major save. This dress is now out of stock but I’ve gathered up some similar options at three price points.
I basically live in my Converse Chuck Taylor IIs so it’s no surprise that I decided to wear them on this
lazy casual day. I’ve owned about four pairs of Chuck Taylor Originals before I got this recently updated pair. Since I knew I would wear them so often, I had no problem shelling out a bit of cash for this spend item.
Make sure to always have a comfy and versatile pair of sneakers in your closet. School days can get long and tiring so you don’t want your feet to be aching at the end of the day.
This purse is actually borrowed from my mom! She doesn’t know where she got it from but she says it was definitely a save piece. The pink Saint Laurent Kate bag is one of my all-time favourite luxury purses so I love anything reminiscent of the style.
I’m currently obsessed with these mirrored sunnies! I got mine at Nordstrom for $15 – such a steal!
My back to school supplies always includes a few makeup staples so I had to include the deets! (May or may not also be working on some Save, Spend, Splurge posts for makeup looks.)

I’m also wearing BMC strip lashes but it looks like they only have individual lashes now.
These are the bits that pull it all together.
Side note: have you guys tried the Invisibobble? It has seriously upped my casual hair game – the fact that it doesn’t leave creases in your hair is enough to keep me coming back for more. It also doesn’t snag or pull on my hair so I never get headaches from putting my hair up! The Power version even kept my super heavy hair up all day when I had really long hair! Okay okay, I’ll stop gushing. They don’t sponsor me but they should haha.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Leave a comment to let me know what you’d like to see next and don’t forget to subscribe to email updates in the sidebar (or at the bottom of the page if you’re on mobile). Ta-ta for now!
