Best Cleansers For Every Skin Type: Get Perfect Skin FAST (Part II)

Today we’re talking cleansers! Best cleansers, worst cleansers, I got you!

Perfect skin starts with a great skincare routine. And every great skincare routine starts with a good cleanser! It’s important to not only find a cleanser that will remove impurities and, well, cleanse your skin, but also one that will suit your skin type.

People often overlook the importance of having a good cleanser. Even though it’s only on your skin for a short amount of time, your cleanser is going to wash off makeup, dirt, and germs at the end of the day and prep your skin for the rest of your skincare and makeup routine in the morning.

Let’s start off with my all-time favourite face cleansers. Over the years, I’ve tried tons of different cleansers but only a select few have impressed me enough to get me to repurchase them. Here are my top five (and a bonus) absolute favourite cleansers!

Figuring Out Your Skin Type: Get Perfect Skin FAST (Part I)

Do you dream of having perfect skin but feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of skincare products on the market? Have you tried product after product, all claiming to give incredible results yet failing to deliver? Yup – I know the struggle.

My skin has been through it all – acne, sensitivity, severe dryness, excessive oiliness, and everything in between. That’s why I decided to round up my all-time favourite skincare products for every skin type.

I had initially started writing a single post about how to get perfect skin but it has since evolved into a bit of a novel. Since nobody wants to scroll for days, I’ll be breaking it down into bite-sized posts over the next few weeks!

Subculture Ultimate Review and Swatch Fest: Everything You Need to Know

ABH Subculture Palette

You guys, I am still SHOOK over this drama. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette came out almost a month ago and the internet is still going crazy about it. There are SO many mixed reviews and people are getting super heated over it.

I find it odd that ABH promotes this as the sister palette to Modern Renaissance (which is hailed as one of the best palettes out there) since the formula is definitely not the same. There appear to be major inconsistencies from palette to palette, with some producing crazy amounts of kickback while others seem to be only mildly powdery. My initial thought was that this had to be due to a few bad batches but there hasn’t been any official statement on that.

With some people hitting pan with their first use and others loving it, this is one of the most controversial palette releases in a while. The general consensus seems to be that the Subculture formula is very pigmented but super powdery and people are having a lot of trouble working with it.

The colours in the Subculture palette are absolutely gorgeous and so different from anything I have in my collection so, obviously, it was love at first sight. When it first came out and all these negative reviews started pouring in, I was super hesitant to buy it; but, my lack of self-restraint got the best of me so here we are.
